Our hospitalization insurance is renewing on 10-1. We will stay with BlueCross, however we had to make some changes to control the dramatic cost increases. The chart above shows the OLD plan and the NEW plan that is effective 101-2015. Our insurance agent will have open enrollment meetings at each branch during this month to discuss the changes and answer any questions. We will continue to pay 100% of the employee and dependent coverage. We feel this is a great benefit that is unparalleled in our industry, and we will try to continue to provide this until the economy and increasing cost of health care cause its demise.

Birthdays for the month of October are:

Twin Disc MG540

Sewart Supply Morgan City has been rolling with MG540 gears. This month, they saw gears from Omega Protein, Crosby Tugs, and Deloach Marine in the shop to be overhauled. Thanks to hard work, excellent customer relations, and a well-stocked exchange program, all the companies were well taken care of. Their gears were built up, tested, and back in service ready to meet their demanding time frame. It is comforting to see that in tough times these companies can count on Sewart Supply because they can trust the workmanship they receive in a timely manner. Keep ’em coming.
